Yo Yo Honey Singh
Yo Yo Honey Singh is an Indian singer. He is also a music producer cum rapper and Bhangra producer. He also works as an actor.

Honey Singh was born on March 15, 1984 at Hoshiarpur in the state of Punjab.

Yo Yo was a student of the well known School of Trinity. He has mastered his lessons in music from the institute. 

Fans of Honey Singh lovingly call him Yo Yo Honey Singh. He has attained fame by singing bhangra, rap and desi hip hop.

Honey Singh sang a song ‘Lak 28 Ludi Da’ in the film Lions of Punjab. The song was the promotional song of the film. In May, 2011, Yo Yo attained the top most position in the BBC Asian Download charts for this song.

Honey Singh is extremely popular in Punjab. He has won many awards like ETC award for best song Glassi in the year 2006. In 2008, he won best folk pop singer award. He won PTC Best Music Director award in the year 2011. 

Honey Singh’s two albums rank the top of the charts on YouTube. Those albums are-Brown Rang and High Heels.

In his album International Villager, Honey Singh sang a song ‘Gabru’. The song Gabru topped the Asian music charts.

Yo Yo is also an actor. He has acted in the Punjabi film ‘Mirza- The Untold Story’.

Yo Yo charged a whopping sum of Rs. 70 lakhs for a film ‘Mastaan’. This made him the highest paid singer in the Bollywood cinema.

Honey Singh released his first solo ‘Satan’ in 2012. He chose a special date triple 12 i.e. December 12, 2012.

Yo Yo was shrouded in controversy for some lyrics of his songs. Those lyrics were found offensive and against the modesty of women. In the wake of this controversy Honey Singh cancelled his New Year concert.  Honey Singh bore this with stoic silence.

Yo Yo Honey Singh is still a favourite singer. It is expected that he will remain to be so.
