Salman
Khan is a Bollywood actor cum producer cum writer cum TV host and a model. He
was born on December 27, 1965 at Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His father’s name is
Salim and his mother’s name is Salma. His father is also a writer. Salman has
two brothers-actor Arbaaz Khan and actor cum producer Sohail Khan. He has two
sisters also-Alvira and Arpita. Alvira is married to director Atul
Agnihotri.Helen is his step mother.
Salman
is a very renowned model. He has modeled and endorsed Thumps Up, Mountain Dew,
Suzuki Motor Bikes, Yatra.com, History Channel etc.

has been a controversial figure for many years. He has involved in Chinkara
hunting case and rash driving. His fight with actress Aishwarya Rai (now
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) also made a big controversy.

TV shows Dus Ka Dum and Big Boss have been hosted by Salman. He has written
stories for many films.
Salman
is well associated with various charitable causes. He has formed a trust ‘Being
Human’. This trust helps the needy people and underprivileged are provided
education and medical care. ‘Being Human’ sells T-shirts, watches, gold coins,
paintings etc. The profit from the sales of these products goes to the
trust.

has acted in about 80 films. Some of those films are- Maine Pyar Kiya, Saajan,
Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Karan Arjun, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, No Entry, Partner,
Wanted, Dabangg, Ready, Body Guard, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg-2, Kick.

film Maine Pyar Kiya (1989) Salman won the best debut actor award.
He has
produced three films. Those films are-Chillar Party, Dr. Cabbie and Hero. His
upcoming production Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be released in 2015.

is still a bachelor. It is said that he is in love with Bollywood actress
Katrina Kaif.
